CHURCH ADVOCACY: FRSC Boss Charges Congregation On Safe Driving

The Lagos Command of Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC), last weekend,  sensitised the congregation of Redeemed Christian Church of God, Dominion Cathedral, Lagos Province 12, Gowon Estate, Lagos on the Importance of obeying traffic rules while making use of roads.

The Sector Commander, Corps Commander Olusegun Ogungbemide, while addressing the congregation on the topic : "Why do Christians die in Road Traffic Crash?", harmed extensively on the danger of reckless driving, distracted driving,  danger of worn out and Tokunbo tyre, importance of seat belt usage by all occupants of the vehicle. Need for proper vehicle maintenance and other road tips for safe driving. 

The Domesticated Public Enlightenment programme  which was at the instant of the Special Marshal Unit of the Church also had medical outreach where members of the church took turn to check their blood pressure,  and also undergo other medical test, while the medical team gave out free drugs to them.

The Provincial Pastor, Pastor Timothy Olaniyan appreciated the Sector Commander and his team comprising of the State Coordinator ,  Special Marshal Mr Olusola Olojede, the Outpost Commander FRSC Ikotun Outpost , Route Commander T.S. Ladipo, Special Marshals of the Church, Officers and Men of FRSC.

He commended the humanitarian job of saving lives carried out by FRSC and also charged the Command to continue in the good works they are doing.
