ABEOKUTA TANKER EXPLOSION: TRACE urges Motorists to make use of alternative routes, cautious driving

The Ogun State Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Corps (TRACE) has urged Motorists to drive cautiously and make use of other alternative routes pending the time normalcy will return to GTB axis, along the IBB Boulevard where tanker explosion occourred this morning.


INFORMATION CARRIER had earlier reported a tanker explosion this morning around 8am at GTB axis, along the IBB Boulevard, that has resulted into collosal lost of life and properties.


However, while TRACE, Police, FRSC, NSCDC, SEMA and Fire Service are busy to resolve the traffic and safety  challenge caused by the unfortunate incidence, motoring public are advised to make use of these alternative routes:
*Motorists going towards kuto-Alaba Lawson Schools-GTB-BB Boulevard from Oke-Mosan-NNPC axis should now go through NNPC-Iyanamortuary-Ijaiye-Nawardeen-Isabo-Kuto OR NNPC-Iyanamortuary-Ijaiye-Nawardeen-Sapon-Isale/Igbein to link other routes...




*Motorists going towards NNPC-Federal Secretariat-Oke-Mosan through IBB Boulevard (GTB/Kuto) should now go through Ibara GRA from OPIC Roundabout to NUT Junction-NNPC-Federal Srctetariat-Okemosan-Laderin to link other routes.
